Moses' Winnings
Here's what Val says about Moses:
It all started when my wife. Katharine, was introduced to Redbones after
watching the movie ' Where the Red Fern Grows.' I did not say anything to
her. but decided to drop by Mr. Gene Allhands' to visit and snoop around a
little at his Redbones. I walked around his kennel and noticed a pup that had
come up to the fence and had started licking my hand. He was friendly,
compassionate and was a nice dark red color with a gorgeous head. The pup was
bred from dogs I used to show against years ago or knew about. His grandma was
the UKC WSHOWCH GRCH PR* Hills Sierra Red Queen, owned by Mr. O.W. Hill, and his
grandpa was Best Redbone Male of Breed at the 1999 UKC World Championship. GRCH
PR' Lost Timber Red Buzz, owned by Gene Allhands.
Gene and I worked out a partnership after several different negotiations.
Nelson&Allhands Red Sea Moses has been ONA Profiled and now has become a
2007-2008 Performance Sire. Hopefully, he will part the Red Sea in the woods and
on the bench!
Moses has been very clean in the woods, having no trash problems, waters
great and moves a track moderately well on a cold feeding track. Putting another
season on Moses should make him a nice young hunting dog. We have high hopes for
him, Lord willing. Thanks Gene, for staying consistent in your breeding program
since 1966."'
